Joshua and Tanda Lane, both Georgia natives, made the move from Atlanta to Columbus, starting their practice here in 2007 and the community has embraced them. “We see our mission here as providing a service,” Josh said. “People here are so kind, nice and grateful, and that’s been so rewarding to us.” Columbus has felt nothing less then home to them, being close to family in a big town with a small town feel. “We’ve really felt an appreciation for coming here,” said Tanda.

Lane Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery offers top of the line comprehensive medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology care for patients of all ages. “We have a great mix from babies to adults,” said Josh. Both doctors are board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and take pride in being extremely active in the medical community. “We’re constantly doing studies to keep ahead of the game,” they said. Both doctors are on faculty at Emory University. Dr. Joshua Lane is also on faculty at Mercer University School of Medicine, as well as the Medical College of Georgia. The two have published over 100 medical and surgical publications in peer-reviewed journals, several chapters in textbooks, as well as a recent surgical textbook, Pocket Guide For Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery.

The Doctors Lane are trained to perform all ranges of dermatology and dermatologic surgery for the
treatment of skin disease, skin cancer and skin aging. Dr. Joshua Lane is also fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery, which offers the most effective treatment for nearly all types of skin cancer. He is one of only 31 fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons in the state of Georgia, functioning as surgeon, pathologist, and reconstructive surgeon to provide the highest caliber of treatment for his patients.
